Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Front Office Manager to join our team at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, sales, and group management.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
Assist the sales and marketing efforts of the hotel, including developing and executing strategies to increase revenue and occupancy.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including group sales and corporate partnerships.
Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
Develop and maintain relationships with guests, vendors, and community organizations.
Monitor financial performance and budgeting, and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure profitability.
Hire, train, and supervise staff, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of performance.
Manage employee schedules and payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in hotel operations, sales, and group management.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
