Murex Management ABD Murex Management ABD Ormond Beach, FL Ormond Beach, FL Full-time Full-time From $16 an hour From $16 an hour Administrative Assistant PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED General Purpose Under general supervision of the Community Manager, and in accordance with specified procedures, is responsible for handling the routine office work and administration of a manufactured home community.
Essential Duties 1.
Handle telephone calls, including answering routine questions and inquiries, coordinating with Community Manager and sales associate to schedule appointments for showings, respond to resident issues or concerns in a timely manner; refer complex or controversial matters to the Community Manager.
2.
Collect and post resident security deposits, processing fees, rents, or other fees; record in the proper accounts and issue receipts.
3.
Under the approval of Community Manager, collect rents, record rents, maintain petty cash fund, recording expenditures in proper accounts; prepare/research bills and statements for Community Manager approval; prepare bank deposit slips and deposit funds as required; make daily bank runs as needed.
4.
Help the Community Manager organize and prioritize the work schedules of community maintenance and other office staff so that proper coverage is maintained.
5.
Assist the Community Manager with personnel records, assist in keeping accurate attendance, and payroll records on all employees.
6.
Make collection calls for site rental payments under the direction of Community Manager, as appropriate.
7.
Produce accurate business reports in a timely manner including but not limited to End of Month Reports, Budget Variance Reports, First of Month Reports, Site Status Reports, Occupancy Reports, Sales Reporting, Balance Due Reports, and other reports as directed by the Community Manager.
8.
Maintain operating and office supplies; prepare supply orders for approval.
9.
In the absence of the Community Manager, will direct the maintenance or contractor personnel for emergencies.
10.
Handle office; date, stamp and route mail; maintain office records on all community activities and community residents; and miscellaneous typing of documents, notices, etc.
as may be required.
11.
Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
Position Specifications/Scope; ACM Certificate or College Degree are a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Data Entry Bookkeeping Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team oriented Good organizational skills Must be extremely detail oriented and accurate Must be able to perform and/or manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities concurrently with a positive attitude and approach.
Proper telephone etiquette Working knowledge of computers Willingness to work with the public on a daily basis Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word Rent Manager Program, plus Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
