Every guest receives a personal tasting experience.
Our Hosts are able to share knowledge on our products while demonstrating healthier and more flavorful ways to prepare each guest's favorite foods.

The Tasting Room Host plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at The Anointed Olive, LLC.
As the first point of contact for our customers, the Tasting Room Host is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, providing insightful product information, and guiding customers through our unique olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting offerings.

Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the tasting room with a friendly and inviting demeanor.
Provide an introductory overview of the store's offerings and explain the tasting process.
Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their preferences and needs.
Product Knowledge:
Offer detailed explanations of olive oil and balsamic vinegar flavor profiles, origins, and production methods.
Share information about health benefits and culinary uses to enhance customer understanding.
Answer customer inquiries with accuracy and enthusiasm, demonstrating expertise in our products.
Tasting
Experience:
Guide customers through the tasting experience, suggesting pairings and combinations.
Assist customers in selecting samples based on their taste preferences and dietary requirements.
Create an informative and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
Upselling and Cross-Selling:
Recommend complementary products and upsell based on customer preferences.
Introduce limited edition or seasonal items to encourage additional purchases.
Customer Transactions:
Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
Collect and record customer contact information as per data protection guidelines.
Tasting Room Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized tasting area, ensuring sample stations are well-stocked and presentable.
Monitor inventory levels of tasting supplies and products, restocking as needed.
Event Support:
Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events, tastings, and promotions.
Engage with customers during events, providing enhanced product knowledge and insights.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
Share customer feedback and insights with team leads to continuously improve the customer experience.
Continuous Learning:
Participate in regular product training sessions to stay updated on new arrivals and industry trends.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or hospitality education is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or food-related sectors.
Passion for food, culinary experiences, and a genuine interest in olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse customers.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and comfort with using point-of-sale systems.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
