Position SummaryPrimary purpose of this position: Responsible for the dispensing of chemicals and compounding of bulk product according to department SOP¬ s and batch record requirements. Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace while producing a quality product.

Accountabilities‚€Ę Basic weighing or measuring of materials, or products.
‚€Ę Understand the continuous improvement process.
‚€Ę Must be able to train and cross train less experienced compounders and cleaning technicians.
‚€Ę Ability to follow instructions precisely on the batch record.
‚€Ę Observe equipment operations so that abnormalities can be detected, and escalate abnormalities timely and appropriately
‚€Ę Operation of simple equipment.
‚€Ę Collect product samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis and testing.
‚€Ę Cleaning of compounding equipment (tanks/pumps/utensils).
‚€Ę Maintain a clean and organized work area
‚€Ę Clean and lubricate mechanical parts of machines and other small parts, to include transfer lines, mixing tanks and other equipment as needed.
‚€Ę Cleaning of portable equipment, such as pumps, fillers, storage containers, stationary storage tanks
and return cleaned parts to designated storage areas.
‚€Ę Receipt of all bulk chemicals
‚€Ę Management of waste water and proper disposal.
‚€Ę Completion of the confined space entry program and the lock out tag out program
‚€Ę Ability to read and determine batch requirements.
‚€Ę Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines.
‚€Ę Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience‚€ĘHigh school diploma or equivalent
‚€ĘBasic math and computer skills required
‚€ĘOne (1) year of experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
‚€ĘSix (6) months experience as a Cleaning Technician or equivalent
Skills and abilities:
‚€ĘAbility to follow detailed instructions
‚€ĘLight mechanical and troubleshooting skills
‚€ĘMust be able to read, write, and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions
‚€ĘStrong organizational skills
‚€ĘBasic math and computer skills required
‚€ĘAbility to document and communicate effectively
‚€ĘAbility to obtain certification to safely operate mobile equipment (fork truck, etc.)
‚€ĘAbility to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
‚€ĘMust be qualified to wear a respirator.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
